Shop with a Cop, lead by Lt. Darvin Couch, is a program that started in Fannin County, Georgia in 2013. Local Law Enforcement from different division’s such as the Sheriff’s Office, Forestry Service, DNR and Fire & EMS all participate in this rewarding program.
Shop with a Cop provides a fun filled day for a number of children in need throughout Fannin County while creating positive relationships with law enforcement. This unique December shopping experience assists children and can deter them from choosing a life of crime or violence. The participating children are identified by schools, churches, youth organizations, and social services agencies.
Any and all monetary donations are greatly appreciated and are accepted at the Fannin County Sheriff’s office.
